School of Physics and Astronomy

We have over 140 years’ experience in both teaching and research excellence. Our School brings together more than 60 academic and research staff, and over 500 students from over 30 countries. We are in the top 5 in the UK for research impact, in our unit of assessment, according to the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014.
