We are one of the leading Chemistry schools in the UK with over 70 years’ experience in both teaching and research excellence. Our world-leading research, delivered via six research groups, cuts across the fields of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. We’re exceptionally proud that according to the most recent Research Excellence Framework 2014, 95% of our research activity is rated as either ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
