Chemistry enters top ten in Guardian league tables
The School of Chemistry achieved an outstanding result in the latest Guardian University league tables 2019, published on May 29th.
Published annually, the Guardian’s league tables rank universities according to a number of factors, including spending per student, the student-staff ratio, graduate career prospects, and results from the annual National Student Survey (NSS), among others.
The University was ranked 9th place in the UK for Chemistry, an upswing of 17 places compared to last year’s result.
The University of Leeds has moved into the Guardian University Guide top ten for the first time, jumping four places and rising for the fourth consecutive year. This comes on the back of the University's improved position in the latest Complete University Guide and a top three position in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
