- Thesis title: Developing a Microfluidic Facility for Chemical Phenotyping of Single Cells using label-free Raman spectroscopy
- Supervisor: Professor Stephen D. Evans
I did my undergrads at the Complutense University of Madrid in Physics and in Biochemistry. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Leeds.
I am currently working with Raman confocal microspectroscopy and Microfluidics, mainly in cell trapping. My research involves single cell live Raman spectroscopy mainly in colorectal cancer cell lines and Raman spectroscopy in formalin fixed tissue. One of my interests is to try to make spontaneous Raman spectroscopy on single cells on a chip possible.
